The boards, in my opinion, have ruined the business of pay for play and, TER is the worst of the bunch. The boards foster oppression as well as hatred of women. Grown men, some of them educated and even fathers, have reduced themselves to the equivalent of pimply-faced, geeky adolescents gossiping about and comparing their exploits. Maybe they did so prior to the advent of the boards but it was kept within their inner circle. Now, all the mystery and excitement of being with a new, sexy, and willing female has been thrown out the window. What started out as a fabulous business idea has turned into a horror fest. Much thanks to the bad apples in the sex worker world - the robs, rip offs, bait n switches. These types are what initially provided such a strong need for the boards. Not to mention the pornographic content. However, hobbyists have grown tolerant. Some of these hobbyists have turned into wanna be pimps using reviews as a way to get additional services and time from providers. Now hobbyists won't see someone unless they have a well-researched guarantee that the provider will provide all sorts of risky endeavors for their gratification. If they truly had brains they would be able to decide for themselves. Instead they have become dependent upon boards to make decisions for them. It truly is a shame and I do hope the hobbyists realize although they may think they are controlling the providers, they are the ones really being controlled. The board wave will ride out until it has crashed onto the shore. And what will come next? I do hope that the powers that be are contemplating and working on their next big thing because the boards will die. It is just a matter of when. Oh, I do hope Dave Elms provides one hell of a GFE to Bubba in jail. Even if he gets off this time, his abuse of power and apparent lack of self-control is what will get him in the end.

there's a reason some of us call it the TER-ror list. I feel subjected by the list. and most of all, to be told that in order to have perfect reviews you have to take their cum, whether you want to or not...that's not acceptable. TER sucks

I am retiring in July. I have sent numerous emails to TER to remove my ad and reviews, in light of this decision. To this date, they have not responded.

I hear numerous complaints about TER - The Erotic Review. They are by no means a premier site, but they are high-profile.

They archive posts made by clients and providers - so be aware of that - all who discuss on the boards.

They force fake reviews by refusing to post real reviews by clients who see nice providers who please them, but don't do outlandish acts or don't participate in greek or other unsafe practices.

Be aware, the owner of TER is a young, chubby, flatuent boy who is governed by his weenie and is not at a stage in his life where he can yet make intelligent and informed decisions. He threatens ladies on his board to give it up for free, or he will ruin them on his boards. He works willingly with LE to turn over clients via credit card information and board postings.

Getting rich and running a provider/client board does not make you a respected businessman.

Respect and privacy for clients and ladies on the board would be a start, but this young idiot does not have the patience nor the brains to do that. Ladies who are in danger from stalkers cannot get anything removed from his board - such is his defiant need to be in control - to the detriment of those who subscribed to his service.

I sincerely hope that clients and ladies alike refuse to join his boards and find other boards that respect their privacy and post reviews as clients write them. Feedback from ladies on reviews would be nice, but I'm not expecting to see that anytime soon.

The bottom line is that TER will willingly and gladly put their clients and ladies at risk. And right now - primaries, Spitzer, 20/20 report- you better hope this little asshole doesn't get questioned too hard by the DA. Because he'll cave like a 9 year old caught by mom with his hand in the cookie jar. He'll give you up so fast you will wonder what the hell just happened.

TER is the saddest excuse for a hobby board that I have seen. Fake reviews, non-existent customer service, a board that puts ladies at risk. Think about it before you put your credit card information on there to join. Ladies - you can't escape once you join, and gents - you are tracked and your posts are archived. TER is the worst thing that has happened to our world as we know it.
