Can Ya Smell It.....
Draft beer, chicken wings, hot chili, barbeque and pigskin. The start of a new season of football is here, hopes are high and fingers are crossed.
Don't know about the rest of you, but Lea is psyched as hell. We have a new coach (who I have a crush on), a new young rookie QB and things are looking up for my Ravens. They started the year off beating the Bungals today 17-10. An early birthday present for me...lol.
Here is to all the gents (and a few of the ladies) who love to spar with me throughout the season before it gets ugly and things get said...lol.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE and MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN!!!

Unbelievable......
Even though this week was my first week back to the "real world" grind, I stayed up each night just to see Michael Phelps swim. And my goodness, he did not let me down.
It is likely we will never see anything close to this ever again. This young man was so dignified during all his wins and he handle the pressure with such class and grace. A lesson for so many of us can be learned from him, no matter what the situation, it does not necessarily have to be in sports. He is a very special young man and it really does make me proud to be a fellow Baltimorian. Looks like Cal Ripken, Jr. and Johnny Unitas have some company in the annals of our city.
Congratulations seems to be a word that is just not quite enough to convey to this young man. Is there a word big enough? Doubtful.

Change Is Necessary.....
Well folks the time has come to back off a bit from this aspect of my life. As much as I enjoy this business I have found I need more in my life and have made the decision to step back out into the big bad world. Over the next few weeks my availability during the day will drastically change, eventually leading to evenings, weekends and the occasional holiday.
I am a person who craves, no let me rephrase that, I am a person who needs structure and stability. I miss contact on an intellectual level with other people. And yes, a part of me misses that adrenaline rush my other world gives me. Also, I have to think of my future, my retirement, my economic stability. As much as I hate to say it, I need some normalcy in my life.
Never fear, I will not disappear completely, but will not be around nearly as much. I will still blog and stay in touch with those who have become dear to me. I am very fortunate to have something outside of the adult industry to turn to, so many ladies do not have the options that I do. I have my parents to thank, had they not pressed and pushed me to get that 4 year degree instead of just a 2 year degree my options would be much more limited. I surely owe them a debt of gratitude.

This, That and the Other....
Hi All!
I know, I know. Yes, it has been awhile since I have blogged over here. First my laptop and desktop both crashed within 3 days of each other, then after I got another desktop my internet was on the fritz. It seems it is always something these days. Thank goodness for my Palm. At least I could check emails. Although it is not conducive to blogging or posting elsewhere.
Not sure about elsewhere in the country but in my neck of the woods things have been odd to say the least. The past 3-4 months there has bee quite a bit of press over some well known local ladies being arrested as well the as Deborah Palfrey debacle. Not to mention Mr. Spitzer. It is as if you can feel some type of pall over this area. Any semblance of trust has dissolved with providers and hobbyists alike. It is the oddest thing.
Then of course we have seen the cost of gas go up, and our BG&E (gas & electric) has increased nearly 56% in a year. Everything has gotten so costly. The housing slump, loss of jobs, all of these things have really changed the business.
I always keep in the back of my mind how for some of us ladies two appointments equal more than what some clear on a paycheck and I should be grateful. Also, I am fortunate to have other means of income. Thus I did a rate restructure this morning for the summer months. I always try to be fair, a trait I got from my father, who has a great business acumen and is known for being fair and honest.
Anyway, I hope everyone is well and that life is treating them well. Talk to you soon....
