Buy her a brain.
I really could not think of what to title this blog. I dont know if this has more to do with old vs new, then vs now, tech vs real live communication but it certainly has to do with having a litle bit of something in your head.
I was invited to have some dinner with a friend and so off we trot to a local little place that is very family friendly. We order, we chat and then I need to look for the ladies room. Well of cours there is a party room, I need to wander around, dodge little snot rockets, pass through the forest of balloons and squeek past a granny in a wheel chair hogging up the whole aisle. At last I arrive and find the right door.
Hmmm what to do.... I dont know if its a bigen' or not so I knock. No answer so I turn the knob and what do I see? Its the birthday girl. Her pretty yellow dress is up around her waist, she is sittin on the pot and talking on a red cell phone!!!
But get this, she is only at most 8 years old. She takes her sweet time too, No one in the baloon forest notices she is gone for a long time but I do cause I know food is comming and Im not there. I wait and I wait and I wait. She finishes her conversation, flushes and leaves. I say to her as she passes I'm sorry, just in case she was as embarassed as I was. She said nothing.
Now I guess in my day locking a bathroon door was part of what I learnd in kindergarten. We didnt have to pack school up with lots of things that hadnt been invented yet. We had the luxury of learning to navigate in public properly. One thing I never forgot was not to hog a bathroom. Another thing I learned was to be safe and lock doors. What the hell are her parents thinking letting her off without checking on her and why are they celebrating her being able to use a cell phone but not a door?

My dirtiest places
It's not what you think.
And Nastier than I thought possible.
Those who know me, know I love my computer gear. It was a shocking state I found in the interior of my computer the other day. Never have I let the dust bunnies grow in there and yet I had fuzz all over it.
Oh the horror of it, I will have to be much more careful. Its funny how good habits can be forgotten even among the gear geeks.
Even a good girl goes bad from time to time.

What is your "now I've seen it all"
Thanks to the net and mostly www.peopleofwalmart.com I see lots of things I couldnt dream up but in real life what things have you seen that surprised you?
Yesterday I was in a Chinese restaurant, the man at a booth near me was chatting on his cell phone, I was not happy about it but I thought, hey he is a guy he wont be on too long. The waitress kept doing the drive by dirty looks to him. He didnt take the hint. I wondered what he was taking about since it was very animated and somewhat loud too. I couldnt tell because he was talking in Spanish and I dont speak it.
Finally she had enough and she let him have it. She was actually yelling at him in Spanish with her Chinese accent. It was one of those, now I've seen it all, until the next one.

Porn by the light of the Christmas tree
I was invited to a home to quell a little bit of anxiety one evening and low and behold the tv was blasting some porn. Very funny though as the room was only lit by the light of a Christmas tree. The whole thing made me feel festive in a strange way.
Anyway I resurected this from a blog long ago to share with the ladies one more time.
