Email Issue
I hope everybody is having a wonderful holiday season. For me, Lakers beating Boston on Christmas was the best! It was a great game.. if you were so unfortunate not to see it, you better hope they'll replay it on ESPN sometime.
I just realized my gmail mail forwarding has not been working lately, thus not seeing a lot of emails for the last month or so. About a year ago, my gmail corrupted.. all mails would go to trash folder which made things very inconvenient. So I created a new account - rinatakami@gmail.com - and set all mails get forwarded to this new account. Interestingly, it would only forward real mails, making all the spam stay in the trash in my old account. That worked for me so I didn't bother to update my contact form on my site or some of my listings on various sites with my new account.
Only just now I realized I've been missing appointment requests and emails because they were in my old trash folder staying unforwarded. I just went through them all and I think I got everything, but if I missed anybody, I'm very sorry! I updated my contact form with my correct email so this should not be a problem in the future. If you filled out my form in the past month or so and haven't heard from me, please try again.

Fake ad alert
It has come to my attention that someone has posted an ad on Backpage using my name and my photos, in all cities. I guess someone wants to make me famous nation wide.. I have contacted both the poster and Backpage and I will have all the ads removed. If you see this ad, do not click on the link! It sends you to a website that makes you download virus. Thank god I have NOD32, it alerted me as soon as I got to the site. If you don't have any anti-virus program on your computer, you really need one. I use ESET NOD32 - eset.com - it's saved me several times. As a side note, if you use an email program such as Outlook, I recommend using MailWasher. You can download a free version at firetrust.com. It lets you preview emails before downloading them to Outlook, and alerts you if it contains virus. This has saved me several times as well. You can also choose to delete, bounce and report spam mails.
Anyway - when I post an ad, I only link to my own website, rinatakami.com. My only email is rinatakami@gmail.com. Some of my old ads may have my old email, rinaxxxx@gmail.com, but that's it, these are my only communication form. If you receive an email from some other address, or see an ad that contains different site or email, that is not me. If you ever see an ad that looks suspicious, please let me know!

You know, I always said I’m no Shaq hater, but you are doing a real good job recruiting me into one. You have waaaay too much time on your hand. How about doing something more useful and constructive, like.. training? You know your aging body needs more training just to stay in shape? You know some people go on vacation and still train? But nooooo, you are the one who comes back from off season being fat. How about practicing some free throws? After all, some people go all the way to China playing for gold medal for their country, fresh off leading a team all the way to playoff final, all of which while playing with a finger that needs surgery? But nooooo, you’d probably fake injury just so you can be making bad rap albums, bad movies, bad reality show, stomping around night clubs, getting your badge yanked, getting dumped by your wife, and now you are a pathetic stalker getting slapped by a restraining order. So tell me, how’s MaryJane’s ass taste? I really want to know. How about learning how to write? You know you are no 9-year-old, and didn’t you go to like.. a university? You say you are the big cactus? That’s probably accurate, since cactuses don’t do anything. You say you are a brick wall? Well, brick walls don’t do anything either. You know what you are? You are a big joke, literally.

Why I do the Way I Do: Rates
I’ve seen all kinds of discussions, angry posts and speculations online about rates. Clients are mad because the rates they see are too high, and so are the ladies because they get clients who complain and try to negotiate. Apparently, some men see this as some form of sport, to “talk them down” out of the ladies’ rates. Sport? Boy.. they have way too much time on their hand.. they need to get a real “hobby”.
This business is all about personal choice. The fact I’m in it is my personal choice to begin with, and the way I do things are just a series of personal decisions and preference. I don’t think in terms of what I’m worth, or whether I’m worth more than some ladies, or less than others. I set my rates at where I’m comfortable offering my service, and I simply wouldn’t do it otherwise. They may not be cheap, but definitely far from being the highest. I hear about how others charge less, but honestly, I’m not really trying to compete. I simply will not be comfortable working for less, and trust me, if I’m not happy, you will not be either. This is all about comfort. This is a very personal type of work I do, and I only choose to do it in certain ways that makes me feel comfortable. Obviously, the men who choose to see me appreciate and value who I am and what I do, while others simply choose another provider.
Rates also act as a way of controlling volume and quality, to some degree. The men I see are gentlemen for the most part and take care of themselves. My minimum rate used to be a bit lower at one hour. I used to get quite a few spur of the moment requests in the middle of the night for the minimum one hour. When I was considering of raising my rates, I thought about how I go about it. I didn’t really want to raise the whole thing, as I was comfortable for the most part. In the end, I raised my minimum time therefore raising the minimum rate, but keeping the rest the same. However, by doing so, it seemed to cut down on undesirable traffic and casual shoppers by far.
I don’t get a lot of guys who haggle and complain about my rates. Whatever I’m doing must be working, because I don’t seem to attract this type of crowd. But if I do, I don’t deal with them. I know I’m never going to see them, and it’s just not worth spending my energy.
So why don’t I charge more? Become one of those, X000 minimum HDH’s? I have no idea how things are in those range. Maybe one of these days, I’ll find out.
