volunteering overseas
I have gone to school and paid off my debt now its time to head overseas.. I am volunteering for an amazing organization and will continue to work towards rights for women and sex workers. I thank you all for your inspirational words and hope to post about my experiences.

NCY and Schoolwork.. Transitioning out ...
Well I got my first bad review from a visitor who didn't want to talk.. or be nice.. and kept asking me to dirty talk.. and you know how grumpy that makes me... so... ? What does one do?
I was then walking down the street with a friend.. and there he is.. in a city of 10+ million what are the chances? Well... I considered saying something.. but I resisted.. lol.. What does one say?
I truely enjoyed my time taking in art exhibits and the park and the beach and such. Buying fake designer bags with friends for friends and having harrowing experiences.. but that's another story..
I am home now and busy at school.. or procrastinating as the case may be. Putting off going to bed and checking in..
I am starting to apply for jobs in my field (or the multi-disciplinary jumble of fields I have put together). Still transitioning out of this line of work.
I have chosen to see clients and friends from the past - within hourly timeframes. However as my time is precious and studying and researching is becoming a full time job at this point... New visitors are requested to book extended appointments as I am having quite a time of managing time..
My overall timeframe... I am planning to exit this line of work in 2007... spring at the latest. School will be completed, resumes sent around the globe and a new field of study and work will be underway...

Setting up a new incall location
This month has been hectic to say the least!!! I spent the beginning of the month searching for an incall space.. seeing 2-3 units a day sometimes.. Looking at the + and shortfalls.. I think I can now write the section on sex-work.org on just how to go about finding a space.. lol..
Then having meetings with my partners about how to organize the space so we would have a true collective.. Looking at how to finance it and the budeting and the supplies and all things new.. and working on a new website pinupgirlstoronto.com. Along with the stress of having toronto be a no call zone .. apointments were slim.. Then I headed off to florida for a 2 day adventure with a new client..
Back to finding out the realestate agent was not satisfied with all I had done previously and wanted more.. one day off to a week of school... which was great and good for my inner soul.. :)
We sent out an open call for collective members and visiting members.. got tons of responses .. and I spent some time making up a little digital model of the space.. and sent it out... with excited responses.. moving uptown.. :)
Finalized things with the space.. made hundreds of lists and budgets and the like.. and started in on getting supplies.. then out of the blue an overnight appointment.. :) Thank goodness for little blessings..
I have had 2 weeks with no space and it is wearing on me.. Tomorrow we have a van and we are making the move.. :) I will let you know how it goes.

Time to change locations
So as in most incall spaces.. it is time to change locations...
I shall be looking for a new space in Toronto over the next month. An arduous task but hopefully an fresh new start in the new year.
I have been designing a new website for a true collective.
Collective work as opposed to agency work or independent. Sex Workers pooling resourses to work together... From shared advertising, incall space, supplies and saftey measures. An equal split with a fund for emergencies.. We have even discussed using our incorporation and giving ourselves pay checks and health benefits!
Looking forward to blogging the progression.
