Klutzy pink flames?
Hello folks I'm a klutz ;) I sympathize with Susan Meyer on Deperate Housewives, Hollywood makes beingg klutzy look endearing & cute....I however I know that it's irratating as all hell.
For example I fall UP stairs (sometimes down, I guess even I need a change once in a while). The day before my best friends wedding, spained my ankle going up a flight. Difficult to walk down the aisle on cruches holding a bouquet, LOL - but good news, it can be done! The day of my friends sons baptisim, ran to the grocery store, a display shelf containing 24 packs of pepsi fell on my knee, sprained it. Never made that event since a trip to the ER is a day long event. Not all of these "incidents" are my fault...usually wrong place, wrong time. My friends joke that the hospital should name a wing after me.
Cut to present: Riding my motorcycle, beautiful April day. Meet up with friends, we ride out....very relaxing UNTIL....a friend starts to swerve near me. I see her front tire getting way to close to mine, so I move avoiding her....next thing I know she's going down in front of me (and not in the good way)....then I go airbourne like superman (but without the cool flying or LANDING abilty) Landing is more important then the actual flying, trust me. I landed in grass thank goodness dazed but waiting for the pain associated with broken bones (been there, done that too) nada...pain in my lower right side. After what can only be described as the bumpiest ambulance ride known to man, I get checked out at the ER (still not named after me) and they think I have ruptured my appendix...nope luckily no surgery, I have a bruised kidney. After a few days in, mostly for observation I'm home but told to relax and do NOTHING...Nothing sounds good until you've had 2 weeks of it and want to throw the TV out the window in order to avoid another episode of Jerry Springer...daytime TV sucks big time so I played quite of bit of online poker :-)
I got the all clear from my doc on Monday. I feel good and am now thinking about a custom bike...white with pink flames...sounds sweet to me. Yes, my doctor gave me a lecture about driving bikes...yes friends who don't ride have told me of my impending destruction on a bike, especially given my less than graceful ways....I'm careful & focused when riding and ALWAYS wear a helmet & leathers....let's face it, knowing me, I could fall up my stairs and get hurt worse...so no bike lectures k? ;)
PLUS I missed a M&G at Kelly Shannons and missed meeting highandtight!!!! GRRRRR I'm going to walk around in bubblewrap until her next one, I plan to be added to his harem so I need to be extra careful!
