Ky. woman accused of trading sex for fuel

FORT WRIGHT, Ky. --Police in northern Kentucky arrested a woman who officers say traded sex for gasoline.
Police in Fort Wright set up a prostitution sting and said one of the suspects they arrested engaged in sex for a $100 gasoline card and other gifts.
Thirty-four-year-old Angela Eversole of Fort Wright is charged with prostitution and doing business without an occupational license. She pleaded not guilty at a Tuesday arraignment.
Police also arrested a man they said paid Eversole. He is 50-year-old Kenneth Nowak of Avon, Indiana.
Kenton County prosecutor Ken Easterling said it's sad when people are selling their bodies for gas.

How to be a Femme Fatale . . .
Here I sit watching Body Heat on HD-fabulous picture quality-you see just the "hint" of William Hurt losing his looks, you see Kathleen Turner's uninterested disdain and think it is sexy til the end...she is in my mind paying homage to Lauren Bacall's sexy husky-voiced, smoldering eyes "dame". It is a fabulous film on many levels-film noir being my favorite. It has the classic story of boy meets girl, boy does girl, becomes obsessed with girl and gets tricked into killing for girl-then girl cleverly frames boy for the murder-girl gets away with murder and money-all with a box of popcorn! YUM!
But it also features some great lines, young Kathleen Turner in a skirt and a bespectacled Ted Danson (Sam from Cheers and the first Aramis cologne model) dancing on a pier.
I love old movies-they just seem to have more substance. But I truly love the movie experience. You get some popcorn, some milk duds-maybe-if you are like me-a sugarhead-you sneak in some contraband Good and Plentys, Swedish Fish or some such...you get your seat and VOILA! Insta-entertainment! . .And even bad movies-I like to some extent-cus even a bad movie is an achievement, I guess! :)
But I especially love the slice of Love Gone Bad-and betrayal...
It is kind of a lazy day-I have an appt at 5 (soon...) and I am realizing I have not had anything but cereal to eat today..so I will run off now-but WOW!
I love movies...I wish I could talk more..

Queen of the May...
When I was a much smaller, much more obedient version of myself-I was also aiming to be a great Catholic--I got voted Queen of the May--this is a huge honor in Catholic-land...Catholicism is chock-full of Traditions and Pageantry--and the Queen of the May would dress all in white and after all the readings, the Queen would walk up to the statue of the Virgin Mary and stepping carefully on the ladder, "crown" the Blessed Mother with a flower headpiece and the Queen's parents would take copious photos and be assured their precious little angel would never ever do anything bad--after all, she is the Queen of the May!
It is a nice tradition-and an even nicer memory...I remember the songs and the open doors of the church with the cool breeze coming in...
I still am endlessly amused by this--but realize every May that that time, that place will always be a part of me...I was the best little Catholic girl!
And come on! I would have made an excellent nun! HA!

Ever feel that way?
Have you ever wanted to have one moment back? Just for a second! Just a quick re-do and your life would be so different? Well, I met up with one of my Mulligan's today..And the truth is--you can't get the moment back--you can force the feeling-you can apologize over and over and try harder-but the reason the past is the past? Cause you can't get a Do-Over...And if you did, it would wind up weird, somehow...like a Stepford wife or perhaps even Frankenstein(Or the Island of Lost Toys--or that one Creepy Creature Feature where the monkey turns evil... Because the past cannot be rewritten, much as we'd like to try.)
I had a friend who helped me when my mom passed away-I can honestly say-if this person would not have been there-I would have lost my mind. My mom was so much a force in my life-so fun and funny and when she passed away-this person was there for me-completely. He was fierce and proud and made me feel that everything I was feeling was okay. And he loved me so much-he felt more than I did-and I didn't realize the expanse of his heart-the true outreach of his help--the love that he felt...I am not a person who walks around with a duffel bag full of regret--I want to enjoy every moment-so I have a difficult time with this-because we are "friends" again-but the emotion is still there-the connection we had is still palpable--BA BOOM BA BOOM BA BOOM! My better nature is telling me to end it-to not continue this charade of friendship-because--well, hell! I know what the progression is-I know what is in the back of my dirty lttle mind-and I can't stop...I know what comes next and I want it to happen...I want to be bad!
Maybe I am sick of the wrestling with what is--maybe I am sick of being Pollyanna-maybe I just want to see what a bad girl does..HA!
