Number of things in my Past I Regret-Wow...I cannot even begin to list this. There is not enough time or space for that! I can say some of the very things that I regret doing have made me the person that I am today.
Too sensitive? Need thicker skin? That MAY be me!
...Or, MAYBE not!
Well, I can admit...I am a sensitive person. Some see this as a bad quality, especially in this industry. You know what? I think it is an asset, if you ask me. It is what makes my clients (I hate that word...from now on I will use the word "friends"...honestly,that is what they are to me!) want to come see me again and it's what they appreciate the most.If I tried to change, it would take away from what I think is one of the best things about me. It translates into the way I treat others, especially on a appointment (or in my personal life). I MAY, in other's eyes, take it a little too far. Here is an example...When I see a bug in my house I don't dare kill it. I get a cup and take it outside. When my son sees a bug he automatically says "Mommy, get the bug cup!" I am also a vegetarian. No, not for health or religious reasons. I just can't bring myself to eat an animal.YES, I know...this sounds crazy to some. To me it is just part of what makes me...ME! I often get compliments about my personality and my sweet, kind disposition. Those compliments mean more to me than the compliments on other OBVIOUS things men compliment women on...
When I hear someone say something not so kind about me, I feel like someone punched me my in the stomach. Especially when I am so kind and caring to ALL I meet, whether in this industry or in the "civvie" world. I take the time to get to know someone, not just in the bedroom, but get to know them as a person... I love this part of my "job." After all, I AM in school pursuing a degree in psychology. I think that says it all right there. I like to help others, and make them feel good. Not just in the OBVIOUS way...in their heart as well.
I have learned that you cannot please everyone. There are some that JUST cannot be pleased, no matter what you do. I always thought that even if someone did not like certain things about you, when you are kind and caring and you just be yourself, you can not lose. Sometimes that is not the case. It is a hard lesson to learn. I have learned it...the hard way!
Happy Fathers Day...to the single Moms as well!
Just a quick note to say Happy Fathers Day to all you Dads out there. This message is not just for the Dads...it also goes to the single Moms who act as both Mother and Father (like myself). After all, we do have to play both roles, as best as we can. Of course, there is NO substitute for a male father figure, but we have to deal with the hand we have been dealt, right? Enjoy your Fathers Day!

I love blogging!!!! Thank you Ciara for telling me about this site. Oh, while I am on the subject, thank you for your guidance. Had it not been for you I would still me a "CL girl" LOL! I just read your blog, and I have to agree. I have found some really great guys on CL, some of my best guys at that.I can't knock CL...Anyway, Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Now, I have a birthday party to get ready for. It is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours away. I will probably get lost. I hope not!!!!
