Ashley in the Big Easy - New Orleans 3/30 - 4/1
Wow, looks like I am missing a BIG birthday bash in Chicago! I can't wait for all of you to report back on the fun.
News:
I will be visiting New Orleans, LA from 3/30 - 4/1. Coffee and beignets anyone? A friend of mine (former NOLA resident and EB Blogger Amaya Lovely) has a client flying us both in. I will fly to Orlando on 3/29 for one night and then off to NOLA the next morning where I will meet up with Amaya. She is flying in from Jacksonville, Fl. Both of our planes get in at the same time. He got us very nice hotel accommodations right on Bourbon Street and close to canal right in the French Quarter. I'm really excited to go as I have never been before. Kelly Shannon recommended I go on the Ghost & Cemetery tour - it's now on my "list of things to do".
More News:
It is now safe to say that I am living in the San Francisco Bay area again as I finally moved into my place. It was such a nightmare having to deal with my former apartment complex in Seattle. It has literally taken months and months to get the whole crappy situation resolved. It took a lot of patience on my part. It feels so good to finally be able to cook again, wear clothes that have been packed away and not be living out of a suitcase. Living in hotels is NOT fun. I do like that someone makes my bed everyday but other than that I will pass on hotels. Unfortunately, I still have to visit them regularly. But as long as I have a home to go to I am good. :)
That's all for now. I'm off to take a walk - it's a beautiful day. The bay area town I live in is right on the water and so darn cute! Lots of yummy restaurants and cute little boutiques. Lots for me to explore!
